So what's with this Slasherama game? Glad you asked. It's an ultra-violent adventure affair for adults, placing you in a typical 80's slasher movie scenario. It's mostly text-based, with some atmospheric photographs. At the end of every page, you'll be presented with two or sometimes three options of how to proceed. So how do I go about making the choice? Well, we can't help you with the choice itself - it's a matter of life and death, after all. But once you've decided, you simply use your mouse to click on the appropriate option link, in order to be taken to the next page. This could present you with some more options, or describe you being murdered in graphic detail. Depends how well you chose. I see. Not the nicest of games, then? Nope. And it's not meant to be. Slasherama, the game, contains descriptions of extreme violence and gore, along with profanity and occasional bursts of sex. It's recommended for over-18s only. How big is this first game in the series, 'Blackthorn'? It's over 280 pages long, and offers almost 100 ways in which to die. There are, of course, a few happy endings as well, but you'll find it's a lot easier to die than to live. At the end of each game, you'll receive a familiar Slasherama rating, out of five. Clearly, a rating isn't quite so impressive if you happen to have been hacked to tiny little pieces. Wait a minute. There's no dice-rolling involved, is there? None whatsoever. All you have to do is make choices. Very occasionally, you'll be asked if you picked up an object earlier, but this is rare. Don't worry. How much does it cost? Nothing. It's free? That's ludicrous!
